About this role
African Industries Group (AIG)—a diversified global conglomerate with a major manufacturing presence in Nigeria—is recruiting a Junior Civil Engineer for its facility in Ikorodu, Lagos. This operational role focuses on supporting infrastructural developments, facility expansions, and structural maintenance within a large-scale manufacturing and industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities

Project Supervision: Assist in overseeing daily civil engineering and construction workflows on-site to ensure alignment with design specifications.

Structural Maintenance: Support routine structural assessments, facility maintenance, and civil upgrades across the manufacturing plants.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of materials, project timelines, and operational field reports for senior engineering leadership.
Requirements
Experience & Skills

Tenure: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.

Sector Background: Prior experience operating within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or heavy construction environments is preferred. Experience within the steel industry is a strong advantage.
Education & Certifications

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
