Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Charitos BO Hospital, a globally recognized center of excellence for fertility, maternal, and infant health located in Life Camp, Abuja, is recruiting a Female Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join its specialist medical team. The successful candidate will provide expert medical and surgical care in pregnancy, childbirth, and female reproductive health while supervising junior medical personnel.

Location: Abuja Life Camp Extension, Abuja (FCT)

Salary: Competitive (Based on experience)

• Comprehensive Patient Care: Diagnose and treat routine and complex gynaecological conditions, female reproductive health issues, and offer family planning services.

• Maternal & Neonatal Management: Manage complete antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care cycles, including high-risk pregnancies and acute obstetric emergencies.

• Surgical Procedures: Conduct normal and assisted deliveries, Caesarean sections, and execute major and minor gynaecological surgeries.

• Clinical Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and support junior doctors, nurses, and midwives to maintain high clinical standards.

• Multi-Specialty Collaboration: Collaborate with pediatricians and allied medical specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate electronic health records.

• Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree.

• Post-Graduation: Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCOG), or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

• Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification clinical experience as a Specialist. Previous experience in private or multi-specialty settings is preferred.

• Licensing: Valid, active practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

• Core Competencies: Excellent clinical decision-making skills, advanced surgical competency, strong leadership, team coordination, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
