Travel and Visa Consultant

PGE Travels and Education Consulting, a dynamic and customer-focused travel and education agency specializing in global admission processing, visa applications, flight bookings, and comprehensive educational consultancy, is recruiting an experienced Travel and Visa Consultant. Based in Ikeja, Lagos, this full-time professional will guide clients through complex travel and relocation processes, ensure accurate embassy documentation, and develop tailored international study and travel packages.

• Visa & Relocation Management: Handle end-to-end visa and relocation applications for major global destinations including the USA, Canada, the UK, the Schengen Zone, Asia, and Africa.

• Client Advisory & Preparation: Provide expert guidance on visa requirements, cross-check supporting documentation, and conduct thorough visa interview preparation with clients.

• Travel Coordination: Advise and assist clients with travel planning, flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and securing travel insurance.

• Partner & Embassy Liaison: Interface with embassies, visa application centers (VACs), airlines, and global partners to ensure seamless document processing.

• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain precise records of client applications and transactions, proactively communicate status updates, and offer dedicated after-sales support.

• Sales & Package Customization: Build tailored travel and study packages based on client budgets, and upsell supplementary services such as airport pickups and housing arrangements.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a travel agency or dedicated visa processing role.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of visa application procedures for major destination countries.

  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus or Sabre, alongside modern CRM tools, is a strong advantage.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong time-management capabilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to process multiple complex applications simultaneously.
