Account Auditor

Quick Collect, a fintech company specializing in cross-border mobile money transfers across Africa and Europe, is recruiting a remote Account Auditor (Money Transfer & Fintech). This role is fully responsible for performing monthly account reviews, ledger reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and financial compliance audits across all company transaction records.

• Monthly Financial Reviews: Perform comprehensive monthly audits across all company accounts and transaction ledgers.

• Ledger & Settlement Reconciliation: Reconcile internal ledger records against bank statements and third-party payment gateway reports.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve transaction errors, unusual patterns, and settlement delays.

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to AML regulations and internal policies while delivering detailed monthly audit reports to executive management.

• Process Optimization: Recommend structural improvements to internal accounting controls and transaction workflows.

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Certifications: Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required.

• Years of Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial audit, or internal controls.

• Industry Domain: Proven experience as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Auditor—preferably within fintech, banking, or Money Services Businesses (MSBs).

• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

• Strong analytical mind with a meticulous eye for spotting ledger discrepancies and financial irregularities.

• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulatory compliance standards.

• Highly disciplined with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
