Nigeria Chief of Staff

One Acre Fund—an agricultural social enterprise serving millions of smallholder farmers across Africa—is recruiting a Chief of Staff for its Nigeria country program headquartered in Minna, Niger State. Working directly with the Country Director, this executive role leads strategy execution, drives cross-functional initiatives, and oversees organizational governance across the country program.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory & Execution: Serve as principal advisor to the Country Director, translating organizational strategy into actionable operational plans and conducting high-level research to guide executive decision-making.

• Stakeholder Management: Manage strategic communication flow between executive leadership teams and cultivate relationships with high-level external partners, government officials, and donors.

• Project Ownership & Governance: Own high-stakes, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, oversee performance monitoring against strategic priorities, and direct board meeting preparations.

Requirements

Primary Requirements

• Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years combining strategic support, project management, and executive operations (ideally within management consulting, corporate strategy, social enterprise, or international development).

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Development Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Eligibility: Open exclusively to citizens or permanent residents of Nigeria.
