About this role
Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN), a female-led non-profit organization dedicated to creating community-centered solutions for gender-related issues in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is recruiting a General Manager. Based in Lagos, this senior executive leadership role will report directly to the Directors to oversee daily operations, strengthen governance, lead cross-functional teams, and drive the organization's overall strategy and operational impact.
Key Responsibilities

Executive Operations & Leadership: Direct day-to-day operations across multiple organizational initiatives and business units, translating strategic vision into execution.

Financial & Strategic Management: Oversee budgeting, performance metrics, financial planning, and operational KPIs to ensure sustainable growth and high organizational performance.

Governance, Compliance & Risk: Enforce internal controls, strengthen corporate governance frameworks, and manage organizational risk.

Stakeholder & Partnership Building: Represent WIN before investors, partner organizations, regulators, and key sector stakeholders to open new partnership and funding avenues.

Team Development & Accountability: Build, mentor, and align high-performing management teams around clear organizational priorities and measurable impact outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Leadership Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in a senior management or executive leadership role with a track record of managing cross-functional teams or business units.

Sector Background (Advantage): Experience in Development/Non-profit, Energy, Telecommunications, Technology, Investment, or Consulting sectors.

Key Skills: Strong commercial acumen, operational efficiency, financial management, strategic planning, and senior stakeholder relationship management.
