Logistics Advisor

Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited (HIOSL)—a Nigerian maritime logistics and offshore services provider serving international oil companies (IOCs) and national oil companies (NOCs)—is recruiting a Logistics Advisor II. This senior logistics role is responsible for directing end-to-end offshore and onshore logistics, supply base management, marine/aviation coordination, customs clearance, and inventory control for drilling and upstream operations.

• Logistics Strategy & Scouting: Conduct initial in-country logistics assessments and scouting trips to determine operational requirements for international and frontier operations.

• Supply Base & Warehouse Management: Oversee operations across supply bases, warehouses, and storage facilities, managing materials movement, personnel transport, supply vessels, trucks, and aircraft to support drilling activities.

• Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison with customs authorities and freight forwarding partners to ensure smooth import/export clearance and proper documentation compliance.

• Procurement & Tendering Support: Assist in drafting and evaluating contracts for marine vessels, aviation services (fixed and rotary wing), warehouse operations, stevedoring, and clearing agencies.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Exploration, Drilling, Projects, Development, and Production teams to maintain uninterrupted logistic services.

• Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain and logistics operations, specifically within international frontier or offshore environments.

  • Deep experience in Upstream Oil & Gas operations, particularly supporting drilling activities, materials, and equipment.

• Functional Competencies: Advanced knowledge of marine/shore base operations, ground transportation, SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) management, logistics scheduling, and inventory control.
