About this role

McPherson University—a licensed private Christian institution established by the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria—is recruiting a Chief Accountant for its campus in Ogun State.

Requirements & Qualifications Education & Professional Certification

Degree: First Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division.
O'Level Criteria: Credit in 5 SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
NYSC: NYSC Discharge Certificate or official Evidence of Exemption.
Professional License: Duly registered member of ICAN, ANAN, or equivalent professional accounting bodies.

Experience & Technical Competencies

Experience: Minimum of 14 years post-NYSC Accounting experience.
Leadership Experience: Must have served for at least 3 years as a Principal Accountant.
Knowledge & Tools: Sound working knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll administration, and university financial regulations. High proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
