Human Resources Manager
About this role
Continental Lithium—a premier mineral exploration and mining company holding extensive lithium spodumene assets in Africa—is recruiting a Human Resources Manager for its operations in Jos, Plateau State.
Key Responsibilities-
Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Direct end-to-end talent acquisition and coordinate workforce staffing across mine sites, processing factories, testing laboratories, and administrative offices.

Performance & Compensation Management: Oversee the company-wide performance appraisal system, manage payroll administration, salary reviews, and handle employee benefits (HMO, pensions, insurance, leave).

Learning & Development: Identify departmental training needs, design annual training schedules, and monitor the impact of employee development programs.

Compliance & Safety Alignment: Ensure full adherence to Nigerian labor laws, mining sector regulations, and internal policies; collaborate with HSE teams to promote site safety and handle regulatory audits.

Employee Engagement & Welfare: Support employee welfare schemes, manage workplace relations, and cultivate a positive, high-performing organizational culture.

Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Professional Certification: Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SPHRi, PHRi) is an added advantage.

Overall Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.

Leadership Experience: At least 2 to 3 years in a managerial position.

Sector Experience: Prior experience within mining, manufacturing, heavy industry, oil & gas, or related heavy operational sectors is strongly preferred.
