Assistant General Manager
About this role
Pad-Up Creations Limited—Africa’s leading social enterprise and manufacturer of certified washable and reusable sanitary hygiene products operating across 21 countries—is recruiting an Assistant General Manager at its facility in Minna, Niger State. Reporting directly to Senior Management, this executive role oversees cross-functional operations including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales distribution, and human resources while managing P&L, quality compliance, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities-
Executive Operations & P&L Leadership: Lead daily operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and admin units; oversee operational budgets, manufacturing cost controls, and financial reporting.

Strategic Growth & Channel Expansion: Expand local and international distribution across B2B, B2C, retail networks, and NGO/development partner channels.

Supply Chain & Production Excellence: Optimize factory production lines, maintain strict certified quality standards, and manage local and export logistics.

People Leadership & Institutional Governance: Mentor department heads, build a high-performance work culture, and handle high-level relationships with government agencies, international partners, and regulatory bodies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven senior operational leadership (e.g., General Manager, COO, or Operations Director) within manufacturing, FMCG, personal care, or social enterprise sectors.

Track Record: Proven success managing P&L, scaling manufacturing throughput, and building cross-border distribution networks.
