Accountant

J-Six Group, a multi-location enterprise with business operations across FMCG distribution, agribusiness, and quick-service restaurant (QSR) industries, is recruiting an Accountant. Based in Abraham Adesanya, Lagos, this role will manage general accounting, stock reconciliation, financial reporting, and cash management operations for company branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting: Prepare and reconcile ledger accounts, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and monthly P&L reports with variance analysis.

• Inventory & Stock Reconciliation: Coordinate weekly/monthly stocktaking, conduct stock reconciliations, and monitor inventory movements across branches.

• Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee brand cash management, daily banking activities, and cash flow controls.

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Analyze financial data, monitor budgets against forecasts, and generate weekly/monthly financial estimates to assist management decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking, or Finance.

• Professional Credentials: Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is required.

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience specifically within the FMCG or hospitality sectors.

• Technical Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of accounting software such as i-class is an advantage.
