This is a remote, contract position focused on generating decision-ready research, market intelligence, policy tracking, and data-backed insights across Tongston's global ecosystem and AI-powered platform (T-World).

₦120,000 monthly fee + Remote Productivity Support Package.

Research & Intelligence Framing: Translate management queries into structured research briefs, source plans, and decision memos covering target markets, policy changes, competitors, and funding opportunities.

Cross-Functional Data Feeds: Deliver actionable research to internal teams including Legal/Compliance, Strategy, Finance, Media, HR, Tech, and Product teams.

Data Synthesis & Visualization: Collect, clean, and validate quantitative/qualitative datasets; design trackers, matrices, one-page briefs, and simple dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Looker Studio.

Responsible AI & Governance: Utilize approved AI tools responsibly for research structuring, prompt design, and workflow automation while ensuring strict source verification, confidentiality, and human oversight.

Recommendation Tracking: Maintain decision logs and recommendation trackers to ensure research insights are operationalized into concrete business workflows.

Education: Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, HND/ND, or postgraduate certificate in Economics, Finance, Data/Analytics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Law, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in research, data analysis, policy tracking, management consulting, or business intelligence.

Technical Skills:

Strong research design and source validation skills using public/regulatory databases and academic portals.

Advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills (Excel / Google Sheets) for data cleaning, calculations, trackers, and charts.

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or basic SQL is an added advantage.

Analytical & Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex topics into concise, persuasive, and clear executive briefs.

Ownership Mindset: Self-driven researcher capable of producing thorough, management-ready outputs with minimal supervision.

Critical Thinking: Ability to distinguish facts from assumptions, signal from noise, and present practical, risk-aware options.
