Chief Security Officer

Westfield Consulting Limited, recruiting on behalf of an integrated Oil & Gas client, is seeking an experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO). Located in Koko, Delta State, this executive role oversees physical, cyber, fleet, and community security across petroleum depots, marine assets, haulage operations, and environmental infrastructure.

• Security Strategy & Governance: Formulate and implement enterprise security policies aligned with ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity); manage security budgets and report risks to executive management.

• Physical & Marine Facility Protection: Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, perimeter defense, and guarding services across depots, office complexes, plants, and marine terminals in Koko.

• Logistics & Fleet Security: Oversee convoy management, route risk evaluations, and GPS tracking protocols for petroleum product haulage to eliminate hijacking, theft, and product pilferage.

• Government & Community Liaison: Coordinate intelligence gathering and maintain direct working relationships with host communities and security agencies (Nigerian Police, DSS, NSCDC, Military).

• Crisis Management & Cyber Oversight: Lead incident response for theft, sabotage, or civil unrest; collaborate with IT on NDPR data compliance, cyber defense, and penetration testing.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s or MBA is a distinct advantage).

• Experience: 12 to 15 years of total experience across corporate security, military, police, or state intelligence agencies, including at least 5+ years in senior security leadership.

• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in Oil & Gas, marine terminal security, fleet monitoring, and critical infrastructure defense within Nigeria (specifically the Niger Delta region).

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of physical security systems, threat intelligence gathering, loss prevention, and security risk assessment frameworks.
