Operations Manager

Westfield Consulting Limited, recruiting on behalf of an established Oil & Gas enterprise, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Oil Waste Management). Located across Warri and Koko in Delta State, this senior operational role leads the company's hazardous waste treatment, petroleum recovery, pollution control, marine spill response, and logistics operations.

• Operational Leadership & Execution: Direct day-to-day operations across petroleum product recovery, industrial waste treatment, medical/domestic waste disposal, and environmental consultancy services.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly comply with Nigerian environmental regulations, NUPRC/DPR guidelines, NOSDRA standards, and global ISO protocols.

• Marine & Logistics Coordination: Oversee marine waste collection, offshore spill response teams, and fleet haulage operations for safe transport of hazardous materials.

• Project & Financial Management: Develop operational budgets, manage expenditures, optimize resource utilization, and track project deliverables.

• Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Interface directly with IOCs, national oil companies, government regulatory agencies, and local community representatives.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree or relevant certifications like NEBOSH or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are strong advantages).

• Experience: 10 to 12 years of overall experience in Oil & Gas or industrial waste operations, including at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

• Domain Expertise: Deep technical understanding of pollution control technologies, hazardous waste treatment, marine spill response, and fleet logistics.

• Technical & Soft Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems and logistics software; strong strategic planning, stakeholder negotiation, and team management capabilities.
