Equipment / Logistics Officer

Daiik Engineering Limited, a diversified engineering and construction firm serving the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Food & Beverage sectors, is recruiting an Equipment / Logistics Officer. Located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, this role is responsible for asset tracking, equipment maintenance scheduling, site mobilization/demobilization, transport scheduling, and fleet logistics.

• Asset & Equipment Management: Track, record, and tag incoming/outgoing machinery, tools, and heavy equipment; conduct regular inventory audits and log lost or damaged items.

• Maintenance Scheduling: Plan routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs for tools and vehicles to minimize downtime.

• Logistics & Site Mobilization: Organize transport schedules, book freight/haulage services, coordinate site mobilization/demobilization, and resolve transit delays.

• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare waybills, shipping manifests, delivery receipts, and fuel usage logs while enforcing transport safety standards.

• Cost Control & Vendor Management: Reconcile transport costs, track vehicle logs, and manage relationships with external haulage providers.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, equipment coordination, fleet management, or supply chain operations.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory control, waybill documentation, and logistics planning (experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction projects is a strong advantage).

• Software & Soft Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); excellent organization, time-management, and multi-stakeholder communication skills.
