Project Management Engineer

Oilserv Limited, a leading indigenous EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) provider in the energy sector, is recruiting a Project Management Engineer. Located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, this role involves project planning, technical design review, procurement coordination, cost control, risk management, and site inspections for major oil and gas infrastructure projects.

• Planning & Execution: Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope, budgets, schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource allocations.

• Technical Design & QA/QC: Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications; perform quality assurance checks and site inspections.

• Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Solicit bids, evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor material supply chains.

• Cost & Risk Control: Conduct feasibility studies, monitor project expenditure against budgets, implement cost mitigation, and track project risks.

• Site Supervision & Stakeholder Management: Perform site inspections for safety/environmental compliance, liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and clients, and manage project closeout evaluations.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or related discipline). A Master's degree is an advantage.

• Experience: Proven track record in project engineering, construction management, or EPCIC operations within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with project management and design tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

• Methodologies & Standards: Solid understanding of engineering codes, construction safety standards, and project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or PMI principles).

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, budget management, technical reporting, and cross-functional team leadership skills.
