Calibration Technician

Mikano International Limited—a leading Nigerian company operating in power generation, real estate, and construction—is recruiting a Calibration Technician at its facility in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. This full-time technical role focuses on providing expert-level diagnostics, precision repair, calibration, and testing of fuel injection systems for diesel generators and heavy-duty automotive engines.
Key Responsibilities-
Injector Calibration: Conduct comprehensive testing and calibration of diesel injectors using approved diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

Precision Repairs: Execute precision repairs and replace faulty fuel injection system components.

OEM Compliance: Ensure all calibration and repair work strictly complies with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical tolerances and standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and service injector workshop equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Failure Analysis: Support technical engineering teams in conducting investigations on recurring fuel system or engine failures.

Education: Technical Diploma or an Engineering degree/qualification in the Mechanical or Automotive field.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of practical, hands-on experience working specifically with diesel engines.

Technical Expertise: Specialized, in-depth knowledge of diesel fuel injection systems and proven hands-on calibration expertise.

Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, precision-oriented mindset, and excellent diagnostic problem-solving skills.
