Credit Marketer

Lotus Capital Limited—a leading ethical investment management firm and pioneer in non-interest (Islamic) finance registered with the SEC—is recruiting a Credit Marketer for its office in Lagos State. This senior commercial role is responsible for driving the growth of Lotus Capital’s Asset-Backed and Trade Transaction portfolio, conducting detailed credit analysis, structuring non-interest finance transactions, and meeting assigned income and transaction volume targets.

• Portfolio Expansion: Drive volume and profitability growth across the firm's Asset-Backed and Trade Transaction portfolios in line with non-interest ethical finance guidelines.

• Credit Structuring & Analysis: Prepare detailed information memorandums, perform thorough credit appraisal and financial analysis on prospective corporate/individual clients, and ensure full compliance documentation.

• Transaction Execution: Present product offerings to prospective clients; collaborate with risk, compliance, and legal departments to ensure smooth transaction approval within agreed Turnaround Times (TAT).

• Revenue Target & Relationship Management: Achieve assigned income targets and transaction volume budgets while providing client relationship management and submitting weekly pipeline reports to the Departmental Head.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA or Master’s degree is an added advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a credit marketing or corporate lending role within financial services (e.g., investment banking, ethical/non-interest finance, commercial banking, or asset management).

• Core Competencies: Credit risk analysis, transaction structuring, financial modeling, relationship management, and target achievement in trade and asset-backed finance.
