Financial Advisory Officer

Lotus Capital Limited—a pioneer in SEC-registered non-interest (Islamic) finance and ethical investment management—is recruiting a Financial Advisory Officer for its office in Lagos State. Reporting to the Head of Financial Advisory, this full-time investment banking role focuses on executing corporate finance mandates, building complex financial models, structuring fixed-income and non-interest securities, leading deal due diligence, and supervising junior analysts.

• Transaction Execution & Modeling: Build advanced financial models, conduct financial/commercial due diligence, and structure financing solutions for corporate, infrastructure, and non-interest transactions.

• Deal Documentation: Prepare Information Memorandums (IMs), pitch decks, technical bids, term sheets, and client presentations; manage physical and virtual data rooms.

• Client Engagement & Market Intelligence: Articulate client funding/advisory objectives, engage buy-side/sell-side transaction counterparties, track local/global financial markets, and perform deep sector research.

• Deal Origination & Supervision: Identify transaction feasibility, contribute to pitch efforts, and mentor junior financial advisory analysts across multiple active workstreams.

• Education: Minimum of a First Class or Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor's Degree.

• Advanced Qualifications: A Master’s Degree and/or professional charter (CFA, ACA, ACCA) is required. Training in Islamic Finance or Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) is an added advantage.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of core investment banking and financial advisory experience in a recognized investment bank or Issuing House. Prior exposure to infrastructure projects, Sukuk/non-interest finance, or thematic investing is highly advantageous.

• Key Skills: Advanced corporate finance modeling, business writing, deal structuring, regulatory policy analysis, and transaction project management.
