IT Support Intern

Vethan Concepts Group Limited (VCGL)—a Nigerian conglomerate with business operations in scientific instrumentation, energy solutions, industrial automation, and event management—is recruiting an IT Support Intern for its corporate office in Ogudu, Lagos State. This full-time opportunity is tailored for NYSC corps members seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) or recent NYSC graduates looking to gain hands-on technical support experience across enterprise hardware, networking, user account administration, and software maintenance.
Key Responsibilities-
First-Level Technical Support: Respond to day-to-day hardware, software, and network support requests from staff; troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices.

Systems Administration & Maintenance: Install and configure Windows environments, handle user onboarding (account setups, email access, password resets), and execute routine antivirus updates, data backups, and patch installations.

Network & Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in monitoring basic local network infrastructure, documenting IT support tickets, and ensuring corporate cybersecurity compliance.

IT Project Assistance: Support senior IT leads during software deployments, hardware overhauls, and general technology projects across group subsidiaries.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Eligible Candidates: Recent NYSC graduates (service completed) or serving NYSC corps members seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of computer hardware, TCP/IP networking concepts, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365/Office suite tools.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, clear communication, and ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
