About the Role Schlumberger Limited is recruiting a Tax Supervisor to oversee tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance functions in Lagos. Supporting the regional tax management team, this role manages corporate and indirect tax filings, coordinates external tax audits, leads cash repatriation and tax credit initiatives, and drives tax process automation.
Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Filings: Review and file corporate tax returns (CIT, WHT, VAT, PIT) and indirect tax returns while ensuring statutory fiscal accounts meet regulatory deadlines.

Audit Management & Reporting: Oversee external and internal tax audits, manage statutory compliance, and submit internal tax management reports to regional leadership.

Tax Strategy & Special Projects: Assist the Tax Manager with cash repatriation projects, tax credit optimization, restructuring initiatives, and tax effectiveness targets.

Process Automation & Team Leadership: Implement automated tax processes, enhance internal control systems, and mentor junior members of the tax team.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in tax practice, ideally within a reputable professional services or audit firm. Solid understanding of Nigerian tax regulations, tax audits, compliance procedures, and proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP.
Preferred Qualifications Professional membership/qualification with a national or international accounting/taxation body (e.g., CITN, ICAN, ACCA), along with prior experience in the Energy sector or Big 4 audit firms.
