Job Title: Technical and Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Technical and Operations Manager to lead technical and operational functions, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant, and profitable project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead field operations, personnel, equipment, resources, schedules, risk management and readiness.
-!Provide technical leadership on engineering, proposals, execution methods, troubleshooting and project deliverables.
- Drive technical services, equipment supply/maintenance, crane, pump, valve & actuator services and brownfield solutions across SHELL, SNEPCO, SepNU, Renaissance, Chevron, Total, Seplat, NEPL, Heirs Holdings and other operators.
- Develop relationships with IOCs, indigenous operators, EPCs, vendors and strategic stakeholders.
- Monitor RFPs, ITTs & RFQs; coordinate proposals, pricing, contracts, negotiations, variations, claims and project profitability.
- Advise Management on project feasibility, budgets, schedules, resources, risks and execution strategies.
- Manage key accounts, resolve client issues and drive repeat business.
- Provide market intelligence, forecasts, sales pipelines and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with NUPRC, PIA, NCDMB/local content, client, QHSSE and Company requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, HR, HSE, Logistics, Legal and QA/QC teams on delivery, cash flow, resources and audits.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related discipline).
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration is an advantage; COREN and NSE, SPE, PMI or relevant membership is desirable.
- Minimum of 8–10 years progressive upstream Oil & Gas/oilfield services experience, with 5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing field operations, engineering teams, projects and contracts for IOCs, indigenous operators, EPCs or major service companies.
- Strong knowledge of operations/project management, contracts, risk, budgeting, cost control, assets, quality/HSE, regulatory compliance, tenders, vendor management and negotiations.
- Strong leadership, strategic, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, ERP/CRM or contract management experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel at short notice and work under pressure.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary: #1,100,000 - #1,300,000
