About the Role Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is recruiting an Operations – Electrical Engineering Technician I for offshore operations. Reporting to the First Line Supervisor (FLS), this role supports field electrical maintenance, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolations, work permit issuances, and contractor supervision for lighting, HVAC, and motor systems.
Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Permitting: Verify and issue electrical work permits, participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews, enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and intervene immediately on unsafe field practices.

Contractor Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise contractor teams, ensure strict compliance with Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP) to eliminate rework, and accept completed work upon verification.

Field Maintenance & Operations: Support ongoing electrical maintenance on HVAC units, lighting systems, and motors, providing daily progress updates to the FLS and planning teams.
Requirements Previous technical experience in an electrical maintenance or field operations role. Effective communication skills, ability to adapt to tight offshore schedules, teamwork abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications Discipline-appropriate electrical certifications or equivalent technical/professional qualifications.
