About the Role ABNL Limited is recruiting an Operations – Electrical Engineering Technician I for contract deployment on the Idoho Platform in Akwa Ibom. Reporting to the First Line Supervisor (FLS) or Manager, the role focuses on supporting field electrical maintenance, managing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolations, issuing work permits, and supervising contractors maintaining HVAC, lighting, and motor systems.
Key Responsibilities

Work Permit & Safety Management: Issue electrical work permits, participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews, enforce LOTO procedures, and intervene immediately to address unsafe acts.

Contractor Supervision & Quality Assurance: Oversee contractor field work, ensure adherence to Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP) to avoid rework, and inspect/accept completed tasks.

Maintenance & Progress Reporting: Support electrical maintenance on lighting, air conditioning, and motor equipment, and submit daily progress reports to the FLS and planning team.
Requirements Previous experience in a closely related electrical maintenance or field operations position. Effective communication skills, adaptability to tight offshore schedules, strong teamwork capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications Discipline-appropriate electrical certifications or equivalent technical/professional background.
