Job Description

Lead the HR function and drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational growth and business goals.

Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, payroll, compliance, and staff engagement.

Foster a high-performing, motivated workforce while ensuring adherence to Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.

Lead the end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction processes.

Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal standards.

Coordinate performance appraisals, employee development plans, and succession planning.

Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, leave management, and confidential HR records.

Prepare periodic HR analytics and provide strategic workforce insights to management.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
-
Previous HR experience within a bank, microfinance bank, or financial institution.
-
Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent).

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional accountability.
