Greenbond Finance Company Limited—a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) licensed finance institution offering digital financial services and corporate solutions—is recruiting a Head, Legal Services for its headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos State. This executive leadership role manages the legal affairs, regulatory compliance, contract drafting, real estate transactions, and corporate secretarial functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Strategy & Governance: Oversee corporate secretarial duties, advise executive leadership on legal exposures, and safeguard the company's interest across financial operations.
• Contracting & Commercial Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, financial integration agreements, real estate transactions, and operational SLAs. 
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure corporate alignment with CBN guidelines, corporate governance principles, and relevant Nigerian statutes governing private-equity-funded financial entities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Call to Bar (BL) are mandatory. A Master of Laws (LLM) and membership in the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN/ACIS) are strong added advantages.
• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years Post-Call to Bar experience, with a proven track record handling corporate secretarial and legal services within a fast-growing financial institution or top-tier commercial law firm.
• Core Technical Competencies: Deep expertise in legal integration frameworks, commercial contract drafting, real estate law, financial sector regulations, and autonomous legal risk management.
