About this role
Sage Grey Finance Limited—a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) licensed finance company and member of the Finance Houses Association of Nigeria (FHAN)—is recruiting a Senior Analyst - Corporate Funds for its office in Victoria Island, Lagos State. This senior capital markets and corporate finance role leads the firm's Commercial Paper (CP) issuance programme, drives institutional fundraising, structures private-equity and debt investment funds, and manages strategic relationships with DFIs, pension funds, and capital market operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Paper & Capital Markets Execution: Lead the end-to-end management, structuring, investor roadshows, pricing, documentation, and regulatory filings for the company's Commercial Paper (CP) programme and debt issuances.
- Institutional Investor & DFI Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with PFAs, insurance companies, DFIs (BOI, DBN, IFC, AfDB), asset managers, and family offices to secure institutional capital commitments.
- Fund Structuring & Capital Mobilization: Originate, structure, and raise capital for Sage Grey-sponsored investment funds; prepare Information Memoranda, financial models, and term sheets for corporate debt, blended finance, and structured credit deals.
- Market Intelligence & Team Leadership: Monitor market yield curves, interest rate trends, and liquidity shifts; provide strategic funding advice to senior management; supervise transaction deliverables across the Corporate Funds team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: Professional accounting/finance certification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
- Work Experience: 5–8 years of experience in capital markets, corporate debt origination, Commercial Paper program execution, investment banking, or institutional fundraising within the Nigerian financial ecosystem.
- Technical Competencies: Deep expertise in debt capital markets, financial modeling, deal structuring, prospectus/term sheet drafting, and regulatory compliance (NIBSS, CBN, SEC, FMDQ frameworks).
