About this role
KPMG Nigeria—the big-four audit, tax, and advisory professional services firm—is recruiting Supplier & Vendor Management Support Officers on a contract basis for its energy and industrial consulting practice in Lagos State. This supply chain advisory and operational role manages supplier onboarding, master data integrity within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, vendor compliance tracking, and vendor performance monitoring for major oil and gas clients.
Key Responsibilities

Supplier Onboarding & Master Data: Lead vendor qualification, registration, and onboarding workflows; maintain clean supplier master data records across ERP/SCM platforms.

Compliance & Documentation: Audit vendor certifications, legal compliance documentation, and contractual records to ensure complete risk alignment.

Vendor Engagement & Issue Escalation: Handle daily communication with suppliers to facilitate service delivery; track, resolve, or escalate vendor operational bottlenecks.

Performance Analytics & Governance: Monitor vendor KPIs, generate governance reports, support vendor performance reviews, and assist with Power BI procurement analytics.
Requirements & Qualifications

Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) division.

Work Experience: 3–5 years of supply chain or vendor management experience (prior experience in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments preferred).

Technical Competencies: Hands-on proficiency with ERP/SCM systems, MS Excel, and Power BI/procurement analytics tools. Professional charters (CIPS, CPSM, or Six Sigma) are added advantages.
