Human Resources and Organizational Due Diligence Consultant

Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC)—an indigenous oilfield services firm delivering engineering, technology, and project management solutions to the Nigerian energy sector—is recruiting a Human Resources and Organizational Due Diligence Consultant for its operations in Lagos State. This advisory and strategic consulting role conducts comprehensive organizational audits, evaluates leadership capacity, analyzes payroll and labor liabilities, identifies workforce redundancies, and designs change management frameworks for corporate restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizational & Workforce Assessment: Audit current organizational hierarchies, reporting lines, and spans of control; evaluate manpower utilization, critical skill gaps, and succession planning frameworks.

• Cost Structure & Liability Audit: Analyze salary structures, pension obligations, payroll integrity, and statutory employee liabilities; formulate actionable workforce optimization plans.

• Compliance & Legal Alignment: Review employment contracts, executive agreements, and internal HR manuals against Nigerian labor laws and international best practices.

• Change Management & Deliverable Delivery: Produce key deliverables including HR Due Diligence Reports, revised organizational charts, workforce transition blueprints, and change management strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.

• Professional Certification: Mandatory professional HR charter (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD).

• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of dedicated HR management consulting experience, with a proven track record in organizational diagnostics, corporate restructuring, and change management (oilfield or industrial sector experience is an advantage).
