About this role
ActiveEdge Technologies—a technology solutions provider specializing in digital transformation and enterprise software solutions—is recruiting a Business Development Manager, Enterprise for its office in Lekki, Lagos. This strategic management position focuses on driving enterprise software practices (specifically across Oracle and Microsoft ecosystems), building C-suite relationships across key industries, leading go-to-market strategies, and closing complex B2B deals.
Key Responsibilities-
Strategic Planning & Revenue Generation: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for Enterprise Application practices; achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining pipeline accuracy and forecasting.

Go-To-Market (GTM) & Account Strategy: Implement go-to-market strategies for proprietary and partner solutions (e.g., Introspec); build account/opportunity plans targeting key clients in Financial Services (FSI), Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing.

C-Suite Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage relationships with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs) across major corporate organizations in Nigeria.

Ecosystem & Partner Management: Drive strategic technology alliances within Microsoft and Oracle ecosystems; ensure compliance with partner programs, joint initiatives, and certification requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead internal alignment between Sales, Presales, Marketing, CTO, and COO teams to package tailored enterprise solutions and deliver long-cycle enterprise sales.

Experience: 8 to 12 years of total experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the technology industry.

Enterprise B2B Track Record: 5 to 8 years of proven experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

Enterprise Software Expertise: 3 to 5 years of experience selling or supporting Enterprise Applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, Middleware, or SaaS solutions), with preference for Oracle or Microsoft platforms.

Industry Networks & Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Nigerian enterprise technology landscape, procurement cycles, FSI regulatory considerations, and established networks among executive stakeholders in FSI, Energy, and Manufacturing.

Core Skills: Solution selling, pipeline management, contract negotiation, competitive analysis, and strategic communication.
