Solution Architect

ActiveEdge Technologies—a technology solutions provider specializing in business productivity and enterprise digital transformation—is recruiting a Solution Architect (Infrastructure) for its office in Lekki, Lagos. This senior technical leadership role serves as the ultimate authority on enterprise infrastructure solutions. The candidate will drive end-to-end solution design, data center modernization, hybrid/multi-cloud architecture, and technical presales enablement for major corporate accounts.

• Enterprise Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, resilient, high-performance infrastructure solutions spanning data centers, compute, storage (SAN/NAS), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM), hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), and cloud platforms.

• Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Strategy: Design cloud migration and hybrid cloud deployment models (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) incorporating Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation (Terraform, Ansible).

• Presales & Commercial Enablement: Lead technical presales engagements, architect solution frameworks, lead client workshops, build technical proposals, and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to drive deal closure.

• OEM Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with global hardware and software OEMs (Dell Technologies, HPE, VMware, NetApp, Cisco, Microsoft) to engineer co-branded solutions and optimize partner integrations.

• Disaster Recovery & Governance: Establish disaster recovery (DR), business continuity planning (BCP), and backup architectures (Veeam, Commvault) ensuring strict alignement with regulatory standards and RTO/RPO targets.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 10 to 15 years of total enterprise IT experience, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years in specialized infrastructure architecture roles within system integrators, OEM vendors, or IT consulting firms.

• Technical Domains: Enterprise servers (x86/blade), enterprise storage (SAN/NAS/Object), software-defined storage, container orchestration, spine-leaf networking, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Preferred Certifications:

  • Virtualization & Hyper-Converged: VMware VCP/VCAP, Nutanix NCP, or Citrix Certified Professional.

  • Cloud Architecture: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.

  • Storage/Systems: Dell EMC Proven Professional, NetApp NCIE, or Cisco Data Centre (CCNP/CCIE).

• Core Skills: Executive presentation, consultative solution selling, commercial proposal formulation, cross-functional mentorship, and technical win-rate optimization.
