Maintenance Manager

Boulevard Hotels and Resorts—a hotel development, management, and franchise operator—is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for its hospitality facilities in Lagos State. This technical management role oversees plant operations, facility engineering, preventive maintenance scheduling, utility systems (generators, HVAC, plumbing, electrical), pool maintenance, and contractor management to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Engineering & Operations: Oversee daily technical operations of physical plant infrastructure, including heavy-duty diesel generators, HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing networks, and swimming pool filtration.

• Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Formulate and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment to eliminate downtime.

• Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Manage third-party service agreements, negotiate supplier contracts, and supervise technical contractors during repairs, overhauls, or installations.

• Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Enforce occupational health and safety protocols, fire protection standards, structural compliance, and environmental regulations across all hotel facilities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Professional Background: 5+ years of hands-on maintenance engineering experience within upscale hotels, resorts, or hospitality assets.

• Technical Mastery: In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems, heavy-power generators, MEP installations, water treatment, and swimming pool maintenance.

• Core Competencies: Preventive maintenance planning, vendor management, budget control, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
