Head of Business Development

Nairapoint Finance Limited—a licensed digital finance house focused on ethical lending, investment products, and retail wealth management founded by Mrs. Funke Otti and Vice Chairman Dr. Mohammed K. Santuraki—is recruiting a Head of Business Development for its head office in Ikoyi, Lagos State. Reporting to executive management, this senior commercial leadership position drives core growth metrics across deposit mobilization (HNIs and corporates), risk asset/loan book expansion for MSMEs and salary earners, strategic ecosystem partnerships, and sales team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Deposit Mobilization & HNI Sales: Formulate and execute deposit mobilization strategies targeting High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), corporate accounts, and institutional investors.

• Risk Asset & Loan Portfolio Growth: Structure, pitch, and disburse credit and loan products to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and salaried workers while maintaining healthy portfolio quality.

• Partnership Development: Build strategic commercial alliances across merchant networks, digital payment platforms, and corporate ecosystems to accelerate customer acquisition.

• Sales Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage sales executives, setting monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for loan volume, deposit totals, and partner onboarding.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Industry Experience: 7–10 years of progressive sales leadership within Nigerian retail banking, microfinance banking, or digital lending platforms.

• Regulatory & Credit Knowledge: Practical understanding of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) microfinance/finance house regulations, retail credit scoring models, and risk management principles.

• Core Competencies: HNI relationship management, corporate presentation skills, credit structuring, and team leadership.
