Human Resources & Administration Manager

PoweredUp Consulting—a human resource and executive coaching firm recruiting on behalf of a corporate enterprise—is seeking a senior Human Resources & Administration Manager for an office in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Reporting to executive management, this senior HR leadership position directs talent acquisition, performance management systems, industrial relations, labor budget forecasting, statutory/immigration compliance, NCDMB (Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board) regulatory reporting, and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policy enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic HR & Workforce Planning: Develop workforce placement plans, forecast labor costs, manage staff budget allocations, and track personnel expenditure.

• Talent Management & Performance: Direct full-lifecycle recruitment, execute performance appraisal frameworks, implement employee retention programs, and oversee training/development budgets.

• Industrial Relations & NCDMB Compliance: Manage union negotiations, collective bargaining agreements, labor dispute resolutions, immigration permits, and NCDMB regulatory HR reporting.

• HSSE Enforcement: Enforce workplace safety policies, conduct hazard inspections, track accident metrics, support accident investigations, and ensure employee participation in HSSE training.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic & Professional Credentials: Bachelor's Degree plus a Postgraduate Qualification/Master's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline; active professional membership (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD).

• Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, industrial relations practices, immigration frameworks, and NCDMB regulatory requirements.

• Core Competencies: Labor budget forecasting, union negotiations, HSSE compliance, executive communications, and multicultural team leadership.
