Business Development Executive

Dexterous Applied Training Institute (DATI)—a vocational, technical, and professional training institution providing industry certifications across the oil & gas, maritime, engineering, and manufacturing sectors—is recruiting a Business Development Executive for its corporate operations on Lagos Island, Lagos State. This B2B sales position focuses on corporate account acquisition, training-needs assessments, proposal drafting, CRM pipeline management, and driving revenue growth across oil & gas, maritime, and industrial clients in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• B2B Lead Generation & Prospecting: Execute corporate visits, cold calls, and networking outreach to build and qualify a B2B technical training pipeline in Lagos.

• Account & Relationship Management: Conduct corporate training-needs assessments, service ongoing accounts, collect post-training evaluations, and ensure client retention.

• Proposal & RFP Development: Prepare commercial quotes, capability statements, and training proposals within 24–48 hours for prospective corporate clients and tender submissions.

• CRM & Pipeline Tracking: Update CRM records, log client interactions, and deliver weekly and monthly pipeline performance reports to the Business Development Manager.

• Industry Engagement: Represent DATI at industrial trade shows, corporate expos, and sector conferences to expand institutional partnerships.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field; technical certifications are an added advantage.

• Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM pipeline tracking software.

• Core Competencies: B2B prospecting, technical training-needs assessment, commercial proposal development, RFQ/RFP response management, and corporate account management.
