About this role
Salpha Energy—a clean energy company distributing affordable off-grid solar solutions across Nigeria—is recruiting a Cashier / Inventory Officer for its regional branch in Ilorin, Kwara State. This dual-responsibility operational role handles branch-level cash management (POS, transfers, receipts, expense tracking), retail/partner sales reconciliation (LAPO, Grooming MFB), and complete physical stock inventory control.
Key Responsibilities

Cash Management & Reconciliation: Process walk-in customer payments (cash, POS, bank transfer), issue receipts, reconcile daily sales logs, track branch expenses, and monitor microfinance partner transactions (LAPO, Grooming).

Inventory Control & Stock Movement: Oversee physical stock counts, log inbound/outbound product transfers via Stock Issue Vouchers (SIV), manage warranty/defective returns, and raise stock replenishment orders.

Warehouse & Logistics Alignment: Maintain clean, safe product storage, coordinate with sales and engineering teams for repair turnarounds, and maintain digital logs on shared drives for audit readiness.

Customer Service & Compliance: Serve walk-in dealers, customers, and partner representatives while ensuring full compliance with internal financial and inventory policies.
Requirements & Qualifications

Academic Background: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.

Work Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing retail cash points, inventory accounts, or branch logistics.

Technical Skills: Computer literacy, proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel drives, stock control tools, and basic financial documentation.

Core Competencies: Detail orientation, integrity, team collaboration, multi-tasking under pressure, and effective communication skills.
