Hotel Operations Manager

Elevare Human Solutions Ltd—a Lagos-based human resource consulting firm recruiting on behalf of a hospitality and travel service company—is recruiting a Hotel Operations Manager (overseeing tour and hospitality operations) for its client in Lagos State. This operational management role leads daily tour and travel logistics, manages guest bookings and itineraries, coordinates local transportation and hotel accommodations, supervises hospitality personnel, and resolves customer issues to ensure high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel & Hospitality Logistics: Direct daily tour operations, coordinate guest itineraries, handle hotel reservations, and manage ground transportation arrangements.

• Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise operational staff and third-party service providers while tracking operational efficiency and service delivery standards.

• Issue Resolution & Guest Relations: Manage guest complaints, resolve operational bottlenecks on ground, and implement measures to maximize customer satisfaction.

• Cost Control & Workflow Optimisation: Monitor service budgets, control operational expenses, and maintain smooth workflows between tour guides, drivers, and hotel management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Sector Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of travel and hospitality operations, tour logistics, customer service standards, and vendor management.

• Core Competencies: Guest relations, operational problem-solving, team supervision, route/itinerary planning, and budget monitoring.
