Painter

Eko Maintenance Limited—a leading facility management firm specializing in high-rise building maintenance across Victoria Island—is recruiting a Painter for its operations in Victoria Island, Lagos State. This technical trade and surface finishing role is responsible for surface preparation, POP screeding, spray painting, and applying specialized protective/decorative coatings across high-rise interior and exterior building surfaces, wood, metal, and ceilings.

• Surface Preparation & Repair: Inspect surfaces for mold, stains, or damage; repair cracks and holes using POP works, sanding, screeding, and primer/sealer application.

• Coating Execution: Perform interior and exterior painting (including high-rise façade works via scaffolding and ladders); apply emulsion, oil, enamel, anti-corrosive, bituminous, and aluminum paints using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

• Site Protection & Quality Assurance: Protect surrounding furniture, flooring, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape while delivering smooth, durable finishes across walls, wood, metal, doors, and ceilings.

• Academic & Vocational Credentials: Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or relevant Vocational Trade Test Certification.

• Experience Baseline: 3–6 years of verified painting and surface finishing experience in commercial, residential, or high-rise facility management environments.

• Core Competencies: Paint mixing ratios, spray painting, POP screeding, scaffolding/ladder safety, surface sealing, anti-corrosive treatment, and detail orientation.
