About this role
PG Consulting Limited—recruiting on behalf of an established technology solutions client—is seeking a Senior Project Executive - IT Government Projects for a full-time position in Lagos State. This public-sector business development role accelerates identified IT project opportunities across government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). The position navigates public procurement workflows, manages government stakeholder relationships, resolves approval bottlenecks, and secures IT contracts within Lagos State and federal channels.
Key Responsibilities

Government IT Project Approvals: Own and advance identified technology opportunities through public procurement channels to ensure project sign-off and award.

Stakeholder & MDA Engagement: Build relationships with procurement officers, permanent secretaries, and MDA decision-makers to position the firm as a primary IT partner.

Pipeline Management & Bottleneck Resolution: Conduct persistent follow-ups across government offices, identifying and resolving administrative delays in project approvals.

Proposal & Bid Management: Collaborate with technical and sales teams to prepare presentations, bid submissions, and documentation aligned with e-Government policies.

Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Political Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience Baseline: 3+ years of experience in government sales, public-sector procurement, or IT business development in Nigeria.

Core Competencies: Nigerian public procurement regulations, e-Government frameworks, MDA relationship management, contract negotiations, and executive presentation writing.
