Finance Controller

Eaglenet Logistic Services Limited—a Nigerian freight forwarding, customs clearance, and supply chain management company—is recruiting a Finance Controller for its corporate office located along Airport Road in Lugbe, Abuja (FCT). Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior management role oversees accounting operations, corporate budgeting, statutory tax compliance, cash-flow modeling, and internal audit controls across air, sea, and land logistics business lines.

• Financial Oversight & Reporting: Direct daily accounting functions; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and audited financial statements.

• Budgeting, Cash Flow & Risk Control: Develop annual operational budgets, perform variance analysis, monitor working capital, and maintain internal financial control mechanisms.

• Statutory Compliance & External Liaison: Coordinate tax audits (FIRS/FCT-IRS), statutory deductions (PAYE, WHT, VAT, CIT), and manage relations with commercial banks and external auditors.

• Team Leadership & Process Improvement: Supervise accounts department staff, enforce standard operating procedures, and optimize ERP accounting software usage.

• Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Professional Credentials (Mandatory): Chartered Accountant status (ICAN / ACA or ACCA required).

• Experience Baseline: 5+ years of post-chartered experience leading finance operations, budgeting, and financial risk assessment.

• Geographic & Software Requirements: Must reside within Lugbe, Abuja; advanced mastery of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software packages.
