About this role
Westcare Hospital Group—originating from Ilogbo Central Hospital established in 1998—is recruiting a Radiographer for its facility in Egbeda, Lagos. Reporting to the Medical Director and Head of Clinical Services, this clinical role operates diagnostic equipment to perform X-ray, ultrasound, and ECG examinations while maintaining strict radiation safety and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging: Perform clinical imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasound scans, and electrocardiogram (ECG) examinations as ordered by physicians.

Patient Care & Safety: Ensure proper patient positioning, pre-procedure preparation, and rigorous adherence to radiation protection and infection control protocols.

Equipment & Quality Control: Conduct routine checks on imaging machinery, report technical faults promptly, and maintain accurate digital/physical patient records.

Workflow Management: Coordinate patient schedules efficiently to minimize wait times while upholding medical ethics and confidentiality.

Academic & Professional Credentials: B.Sc. or equivalent in Radiography with active registration and a valid license from the RRBN, plus a completed NYSC discharge certificate.

Clinical Competencies: Proficiency in operating X-ray units, ultrasound equipment, and ECG machines.

Geographic Mandate: Must reside within Egbeda, Lagos and its immediate environs.

Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, patient-centered empathy, organizational rigor, and adherence to healthcare safety standards.
