Senior Logistics Analyst

Zipline Nigeria—the world leader in autonomous drone delivery for critical medical supplies, vaccines, and blood products—is recruiting a Senior Logistics Analyst, Nigeria to oversee its national supply chain, international freight operations, and custom clearance workflows from its country headquarters in Lagos State. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director and Country Operations Lead, this senior operational position owns end-to-end country logistics—managing international inbound air/sea freight, customs duty exemptions, drone/ground-equipment spare parts inventory, 3PL logistics vendors, and inland transport to Zipline distribution hubs.

• End-to-End Country Supply Chain Ownership: Direct international freight movement, customs clearance, warehousing, and domestic delivery of finished goods, autonomous aircraft spares, lithium batteries, and ground station equipment to distribution centers.

• Customs Execution & Import Regulatory Compliance: Oversee customs brokers, obtain import licenses, manage NAFDAC/NCS clearance protocols, secure tax/duty exemptions, and resolve port delays.

• 3PL Vendor & Freight Forwarder Management: Manage contracts, SLAs, landed costs, and operational compliance for international freight forwarders, customs brokers, air cargo operators, and local transport carriers.

• Inventory Control & Warehousing Governance: Maintain inventory accuracy across all Nigerian storage facilities via cycle counts, stock reconciliations, automated replenishment tracking, and transaction logging.

• SOP Development & KPI Analytics: Design supply chain standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitor landed costs, track customs lead times and on-time delivery rates, and present data-backed risk assessments to global executive teams.

• Academic & Professional Profile: Bachelor's Degree + 10+ years of senior supply chain, international shipping, and customs management experience in Nigeria.

• Technical & Software Toolstack: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP / SAP / Oracle), inventory control software, logistics analytics dashboards, customs management platforms, and advanced MS Excel.

• Domain Expertise: Import/export compliance in Nigeria (NCS, NAFDAC, NCAA regulations), international freight forwarding, 3PL contract negotiation, cold-chain logistics, and spare parts inventory management.

• Core Competencies: Commercial judgment, supply chain risk mitigation, vendor performance auditing, data analysis, and cross-border regulatory compliance.
