About this role
BlueChip Technologies—an enterprise business application, data warehousing, and digital transformation consulting firm—is recruiting an IT Project Manager for its regional operations based in Maitama, Abuja (FCT). Operating under a hybrid work model, this client-facing technology leadership role takes full ownership of end-to-end IT project delivery, leading cross-functional engineering teams, managing enterprise stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and overseeing client acceptance sign-offs across enterprise software implementations.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Lifecycle Delivery: Lead IT project initiatives from scoping and roadmap development through execution, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and formal client handover.

Governance & Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate steering committee reviews, maintain status dashboards, track project KPIs, and manage change-control processes regarding budget, scope, and schedules.

Risk Mitigation & Resource Coordination: Direct multidisciplinary technical teams, resolve cross-functional dependencies, identify project bottlenecks, and enforce organizational quality assurance standards.

Account Growth & Client Management: Build strong client-facing relationships, manage expectations, resolve implementation issues, and partner with business development leads to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

Academic Credentials: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Project Management.

Professional License: Active PMP or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory.

Technical Mastery: 4+ years delivering enterprise software, data architecture, or IT infrastructure projects using standard methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Core Competencies: UAT management, risk control, scope management, vendor integration, client relationship management, and MS Project/Jira/Confluence proficiency.
