About this role
Ishiagu Microfinance Bank Limited—a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) licensed microfinance institution and operator of the digital lending platform AidaCredit—is recruiting a Regional Manager (Eastern Region) to lead its regional business expansion across Eastern Nigeria. Reporting to the Head of Retail Banking & Growth, this leadership role oversees regional branch/store operations, mobile phone financing sales channels, field credit operations, loan portfolio growth, and sales team performance.
Key Responsibilities-
Regional Sales & Channel Expansion: Drive sales targets, expand distribution networks for AidaCredit and phone financing products, and oversee retail store/partner outlet performance across the Eastern Region.

Team Leadership & Performance Coaching: Lead, coach, and supervise regional field officers, branch staff, and sales teams to maximize loan disbursement volumes and maintain portfolio quality.

Risk Management & Store Audits: Conduct regular visits to partner phone stores and branch locations, enforce CBN compliance, monitor credit collection risks, and take corrective actions on non-performing loans.

Stakeholder Management & Data Analytics: Analyze regional sales data, build relationships with device distributors and telecom partners, and deliver regional performance reports to executive leadership.

Academic Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Economics, or Marketing.

Domain Mastery: 2+ years leading sales/operations in mobile phone financing, device credit sales, or consumer micro-lending.

Core Competencies: Regional team management, mobile phone financing channel management, risk assessment, data analytics, stakeholder relations, and willingness to undertake extensive regional travel.
