Inventory Planner

Halliburton Energy Services Nigeria Limited—one of the world's largest oilfield service companies serving the upstream energy industry—is recruiting an Inventory Planner for its Cementing Product Service Line (PSL) operating out of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead and Regional Materials Manager, this specialized technical position aligns operational demand forecasts with supply chain schedules, oversees chemical/equipment replenishment planning for cementing operations, manages inventory levels in SAP/ERP systems, and leads local material control personnel across oilfield bases.

• Demand Alignment & Replenishment Execution: Evaluate demand forecasts from Business Development and Cementing PSL teams; run automated inventory planning software to execute material replenishment schedules.

• Inventory Level Optimization & Financial Impact: Maintain optimal working capital by balancing chemical additives, bulk cement, and wellbore equipment stock levels to support drilling schedules without overstocking.

• Inventory Governance & Auditing: Conduct periodic cycle counts, resolve inventory discrepancies, audit base storage conditions, and lead monthly inventory review meetings.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide coaching, training, and operational oversight to Material Control Specialists and supervise site inventory project teams.

• Academic Credentials: Diploma or B.Sc./B.Eng. in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.

• Experience Requirement: 2–6+ years in oil & gas materials management, inventory control, or supply chain logistics.

• Software Toolstack: Hands-on proficiency in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP MM/WM modules), inventory forecasting engines, and advanced MS Excel/data analytics tools.

• Core Competencies: Demand forecasting, inventory control, oilfield chemical procurement, analytical problem-solving, material handling safety, and team leadership.
