About this role
RoadLamp Limited—an established Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) company operating in the oil and gas sector—is recruiting a Bidding & Tendering Lead in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Reporting as the Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, this full-time position oversees end-to-end bidding and tendering operations, coordinates multidisciplinary inputs across departments, manages tender platforms, and executes commercial bid strategies for energy infrastructure contracts.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Tender Management: Lead the review, preparation, submission, and tracking of ITTs, RFPs, and RFQs for major upstream/midstream projects.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Consolidate technical, financial, engineering, HSE, procurement, and commercial inputs into compliant tender submissions.

Platform & Strategy Oversight: Utilize e-tendering platforms (e.g., SAP ARIBA), conduct bid/no-bid risk assessments, and maintain bid strategy databases and post-tender reviews.

Executive Technical Assistance: Serve as Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, preparing client engagement materials and commercial presentations.
Requirements & Qualifications

Core Competencies: Technical tender analysis, commercial negotiation, bid strategy design, contract evaluation, and risk identification.

Platform Proficiency: Experience utilizing tendering tools (e.g., SAP ARIBA) and MS Office suite.

Leadership Traits: Ability to manage tight tender deadlines, lead cross-departmental teams, and maintain commercial confidentiality.
