Social Media Manager

About the Role

A growing fashion house is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead its digital presence, create engaging content, grow its online community, and strengthen its brand identity. This is a full-time hybrid role in Lagos (remote and on-site work, particularly for shoots, campaigns, events and product launches).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Plan and manage monthly content calendars.
• Create, shoot, edit and publish engaging photo and video content.
• Coordinate fashion shoots, Reels, BTS content, campaigns and product launches.
• Write engaging captions, hooks and calls-to-action.
• Manage comments, DMs and online customer interactions.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, models, influencers and other creatives.
• Monitor trends and use analytics to improve content performance.
• Maintain a consistent and premium visual identity across platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing social media for a fashion, beauty, lifestyle, luxury, retail or related brand.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Reels and short-form video.
• Strong content creation, photography, video-editing and copywriting skills.
• Good understanding of fashion aesthetics and visual branding.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
• Creative, proactive and commercially aware.
• Strong portfolio or examples of social media accounts/content managed.
