Job Title: Procurement Executive

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Executive to ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services supporting the Company's operations. The successful candidate will manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, deliveries, vendor relationships, inventory requirements, and procurement compliance while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Obtain quotations, analyse pricing, and negotiate favourable contracts, terms, and payment conditions.
- Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely procurement.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Track supplier deliveries and resolve delays, shortages, and quality issues.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports, spending analyses, and performance metrics for Management.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile supplier invoices and support timely payment processing.
- Support strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role.
- CIPS or equivalent professional certification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary: ₦800,000 per month.
