Senior Finance Executive

GIG Logistics—a technology-driven courier, freight, and logistics company operating across Nigeria, Ghana, and the United States—is recruiting a Senior Finance Executive for its operations in Lagos State. This full-time financial management role focuses on preparing management accounts, leading bank and ledger reconciliations, executing budget variance analyses, and driving statutory tax compliance across domestic and international operations.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, financial statements, and performance reports.

• Budgeting & Ledger Management: Support annual budgeting, revenue/cost forecasting, and variance analysis; conduct regular ledger reviews and maintain audit-ready schedules.

• Internal Controls & Reconciliations: Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations; maintain internal financial controls and assist with internal/external audit activities.

• Statutory Compliance & Remittances: Manage payroll reconciliations and ensure timely calculation and remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, NHF, and NSITF).

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Professional Certification: ACA, ICAN, or ACCA qualification (completed or in progress).

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance operations. Prior experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or tech-enabled industries is an advantage.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel and modern enterprise accounting/ERP platforms.

• Core Competencies: Cash flow management, tax/statutory compliance, financial reporting, variance analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
