About this role
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of finished goods and other inventory while maintaining stock accuracy and compliance with company standards. The role supports uninterrupted business operations by ensuring products are available, properly stored, and dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities-
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Organize and store products according to company standards, ensuring proper product handling and storage conditions.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update the warehouse management system.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate records of receipts, transfers, returns, and dispatches.

Implement the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory principles where applicable.

Monitor product expiry dates and report near-expiry or damaged products promptly.

Ensure compliance with warehouse health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.

Report inventory shortages, excesses, damages, or operational issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Minimum of OND.

1 year of warehouse or inventory management experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or warehouse management systems.

Good understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.

Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
